Join My DIY Journey: Re-Fashioning Ruby Red Kitty Heels into Feather Paradise Shoes

Join me on a creative journey as I re-fashion my Ruby Red Kitty Heels from Charter Club into a feather paradise shoes and give updates on what's going on at Liha.
First, let me give a huge "Thank You" to you all. Since my Spring/Summer 2025 Fabric Haul video, there have been over 200 views, I've received 10 hours of watch time, and gained 11 new subscribers on my YouTube channel. Thank you for the encouragement as I continue to share the behind-the-scenes of running a Thrift, Vintage & Hand Fashion Clothing, and Accessories business.
Remember the green satin fabric from the fabric haul? I received the McCall's pattern #M8562 and started working on the jacket. I will be giving updates on how my jacket is coming along within the next few weeks.

Now for the main event, the transformation of my ruby red kitty heels. In this segment, I would like to share with you how I go about creating my own personal style. I have had these shoes for a few years and always felt that I wanted to add some feathers to them. Since we are knocking on the door to Valentine's Day, I thought this would be the perfect time to do it. As you can see from the video, I am very happy with how my shoes came out. My next step is to style some outfits centered around my new feathered paradise shoes. Be sure to check out my next video featuring my very first Spring Thrift Haul.
Let me also mention that before I decided to cut into a perfectly good pair of shoes, I did watch another DIY'er on how she transformed her shoes. You can take a look at her video here on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySzl4tzEVCY

Here is a list of materials I used to re-fashion my feather paradise shoes:
Aleene's Original Tacky Glue
Hot Glue Gun & Glue Sticks
2 yards of Ostrich Feathers
Scissors
Thank you for joining.
